New Laund farm is part of the Duchy of Lancaster Estate in the Hodder Valley. The Farm lies on the limestone reef knolls, which give it a very characteristic and dramatic landscape. You will be taken around the farm on a tractor and trailer and shown how modern farming methods are being combined with good environmental custodianship to look after this unique and special part of the Forest of Bowland. The view from the top of the knolls is not to be missed! Complimentary refreshments will be served.

Artist Anita Burrows will be discovering the history of the unique Independent Tea rooms 'The Clarion' near Newchurch and Roughlee. Creating sound recordings and interviews with people about their relationship to the place and the walks around there. A guided walk will take place from 12pm from Higherford Mill to the Clarion tea room and back to the Mill for 5pm. Anita will accompany the walk .
